SULPHURNETs jacketed fully sleeved plug valves offer many advantages when installed in liquid sulphur applications. These include efficient heat transfer, assured operability, and a cavity free design which allows for extended service.

 

 

 

 

Plug Valves Features

       Plug is always surrounded by PTFE sleeve which has

       a low friction and acts as a lubricant. Fluid in the plug cannot

       flow into dead spaces in either position, open or close

       This is acheived by a THREE fold Stem Sealing system.

       The primary seal is provided by the sleeve

       The secondairy and tertairy seal are provided by a teflon ring

       and a diaphragm.

      A quater turn of  adjustement bolts pushes the plug down regenerating a sealing pressure as a

      new valve.

 

Ball Valves Features

We offer a range of FULL JACKETED BALL VALVES. The jacket covers the body from one flange to the other flange. The body is modified by adding oversize flanges. Example: a 3" x 4" jacketed valve has the nominal bore of 3" (DN 80) and the flange size is 4"(DN 100). This to allow enough space for bolting clearance.

For all Valves:

The jackets assure consistent valve heating or cooling of the process media to prevent crystallization or seizing of flow media. This applies especially to media like bitumen and liquid sulfur. In addition, the efficient flow of media is ensured through the elimination of pockets.
